Is Maitreya a Saint or The AntiChrist?

On this holiest of days in Christianity, Easter Sunday, I was asked point-blank about Maitreya.

Is he a saint? A savior? A delusion or a fantasy? The AntiChrist?

I’ll do my best to respond to this question clearly, despite my sugar rush lingering from eating one too many marshmallow “Peeps”.

More thoughts might come to me in the days ahead & I’ll share them in a more informal way than in the past.

First, there are a few different teachers out there claiming the name of “Maitreya”. Each appears to do good work on his own, but this question refers to the Maitreya spoken of by Benjamin Creme as “The World Teacher.”

The World Teacher is supposedly an Elder Brother of mankind, here to guide us into our new astrologically derived spiritual age of Aquarius during the next 2,500 years or so.

When assessing a stranger’s character, what’s better than your first-hand experience?

How does a Spiritualist minister or any modestly clairvoyant person experience a non-physically based being?

Well, we do have the advantage of being conscious of a few extra sensory inputs into our minds that most people only experience–but DO experience–on subliminal levels according to their comfort zones, shall we say.

My first-hand experience, my first impression of the one called Maitreya, came at a public lecture by Benjamin Creme in Manhattan in 2001, shortly after the WTC attacks.

In preparation, I had mentally invoked Christ guidance and protection of the Spirit of Truth–of Christ’s presence–for myself & the entire event. As St. Paul said in Corinthians, “Test the spirits”–don’t be gullible or flattered or threatened or seduced into mental acquiescence in any way, at any time.

Though I was very much on guard, the energy in the room and from Mr. Creme felt very positive during his talk. I was keenly aware that he was indeed overshadowed, or perhaps overbrightened, by a form of higher consciousness. I didn’t know if this was Creme’s higher self or superconsciousness speaking through him or if a higher being was speaking to Creme’s higher self.

Either way, illuminating words were indeed flowing down the pipe.

I felt Creme to be both a genuine mystic seeking to serve the higher welfare of mankind, and a bit of a lefty in political outlook. He spoke with compassion and with some seeming harshness about any United States’ response to the 9/11 lunatics.

Creme said in effect that we “should get over it”, which seemed unduly undiplomatic and rude, since many of us in the audience had lost friends & family in the terrorist attacks just months before.

(Later, I came to understand that he (or the being speaking through him) was not slighting the American people at all, but warning us against launching an orgy of violent reprisals that our military industrial complex, as President Eisenhower called it, was hungry for.

As we soon learned, unfortunately, Bush’s political & war machine manipulated the wave of public grief and world sympathy sent to USA. In short, they USED us.

Let’s be clear here. Almost immediately after 9/11, Bush & his henchman Vice President Cheney, plotted, lobbied, bully-pulpited & threatened their way–into what?

Into a brutal, completely unnecessary war in Iraq, to neutralize “weapons of mass destruction” that they KNEW did not exist! To capture terrorists they KNEW were nowhere near Iraq!

What would YOU call it when a brutal, completely unnecessary war is declared that slaughters & starves a quarter million innocent Iraqi civilians, kills a huge number of brave American soldiers and maims for life several thousand more?

Wouldn’t you call this an evil act? Wouldn’t you say those leaders who dragged us into this war were indeed war criminals? If not, then what’s it take to get a leader called a war criminal these days? Just not be an American?)

Anyhow, we can see Maitreya’s curt warning in the light of the ensuing miseries that were inflicted upon the world and America.

My most powerful clairvoyant impression regarding what Mr. Creme called Maitreya the World Teacher, came at the end of the talk.

By then, I’d satisfied myself that Creme was not crazy. Nor was he a hypnotist or a cheap con man.

He in fact had spoken with a kind of calm, poetic urgency.

As Creme walked down the center aisle towards my seat in the back (late arrival), I was scrutinizing the energy around him.

Was it like the energy of a pretender? A mesmer? Or an AntiChrist?

No, not at all.

I suddenly saw a brilliant flash of intensely warm-hearted light around him, so much that I could barely see him at all. I sensed a completely translucent, ego-less, glad and decent presence with him. One of an almost sublime level of intelligence.

The fact is, this bright presence around Creme was more like the complete absence of any malignant or malicious or lying nature!

I kept observing this presence for several seconds. I concluded to myself that if this being around Creme at that time was Maitreya, then Maitreya was the most simply joy-filled, peaceful being you could ever imagine inhabiting this Earth.

Observing this, I have continued to scrutinize Mr. Creme’s statements about, or said to be by, Maitreya over the years and can only conclude this:

Whatever he has said, whether I agree or disagree with it–
I can find no spiritual or ethical fault in his words. Not one drop.

I therefore cannot find any manner by which Jesus himself would find fault with these words. Or ever consider Maitreya to be an AntiChrist or a fraud or an enemy.

As Jesus once answered his disciples about another holy man in Palestine, not following Jesus, who also was performing miracles in the Name of God at that time:

“He who is not against me, is for me.”

Food for spiritual thought, and hope…

Peace and Blessings to you on this Holy Easter,
in this beginning dawn of The Age of Spiritual Honesty.

How to Check Your Spiritual GPS

Do you wonder what’s the right direction to take?
Are life’s conflicting signals confusing you?
Have you lost your spiritual GPS?

Recently, a vivid dream neatly taught me what to do next–
but like the wise fisherman, it wasn’t going to just hand me the tasty fish…

“The Dream Scene:

I’m an African-American man, with six or seven friends surrounding one pleasant but stressed-looking man in his late twenties. Our friend faces a difficult decision.

He has to make really tough choices NOW:

Does he take a big risk for the job & career he really wants? There’s no guarantee he’ll succeed. Failure would prove costly.

Does he marry the pretty young lady standing near him, who’s sweetly stressing him for a ring? We can tell he cares about her, but she’s “not quite the one”. We sense he’d be bending to make her happy–
or avoid her displeasure.

Proverbial buckets of sweat begin to brim on his forehead. We silently give him time for his choice. The young lady gives him a bitty tweak of a smile that says, “You’d better choose me.”

The poor guy’s about to spring a leak, melt down like a reactor or run for the hills, we can’t tell which.

On an inspiration I ask, “Do you want to know how to choose?”

He looks at me with hope & incredulity, like a drowning man would who’s asked if he prefers a life preserver or not.

“You have to take the high road,” I tell him.

“How do I find it?”

Everybody looks at me as if to say, “This had better be good now you’ve opened your mouth Scott!”

These words tumble out:

“Ask.”

“The High-Way is the drive-way God intends you to drive your life upon.”

I repeat this slowly, once, then twice. Everybody’s so in sync with this saying, they smile & nod their heads in agreement.

A fourth time I state this truth, everybody spontaneously recites it with me:

“The High-Way is the drive-way God intends you to drive your life upon.”

A grin of relief breaks through the very tense cloud on our friend’s face.

He understands:

He can get his answer–
by asking his Higher Guidance System.

Anything else would be muddled, half-blind, possibly manipulative guidance.

But his Higher Guidance–
his spiritual GPS–
won’t give him the easy route–
it will give him the BEST route from the perspective of Wisdom.

He has to be willing to lift up his eyes, his energies and his intentions.

Yes, his spiritual GPS will guide him to the High-Way that’s the drive-way God INTENDS him to drive his life upon.

He just has to FOLLOW IT.

The Dream ends with us feeling satisfied, almost giddily happy.”

So remember my friend, your Spiritual GPS is just waiting for you to check–
& keep recalibrating as needed along the High-Way of your life!

Ask me for help if you like.

Peace & Happiness to you,

Spiritual Politics: Chinese Worse Than Brutal Slave Masters on the Old Tibetan Negro Plantation

Imagine sane, good, peaceful people–
burning themselves alive–
voluntarily!

Why would they?

Shocking self-immolations in the news, by Tibetans protesting Chinese enslavement since 1959–
since the illegal invasion of Tibet by Communist China–
as illegal as Hitler’s invasion of Poland 20 years earlier in 1939–
force us to see an ugly, shameful Chinese record:

(1)
Tibetans in their own traditional centuries-old country & culture brutally invaded, rounded up, slaughtered, abused, corralled & treated like third-class citizens.

Their peaceful temples and monasteries destroyed, except a half dozen turned into tourist spots & media show pieces where the religious people can be spied on & controlled..

Very recently, other peaceful new monasteries, once established, were repeatedly razed by the Chinese tyrants fearful of the unexpected thousands of Tibetan nuns & monks who flocked to re-establish their spiritual life.

Maybe you think the word “tyrant” is too harsh?

But–
if the Chinese had allowed you to see–
you’d have seen THOUSANDS of peaceful monks & nuns, including the very young, the aged & infirm, kicked out into the freezing raw mountainsides & forests with no shelter, their monasteries burning to the ground behind them!

What would you call such dictators if they were running YOUR country & victimizing YOUR own family & neighbors?

(2)
To his credit, Tibet’s spiritual leader the Dalai Lama is world famous for advocating peaceful change in Tibet, and for emphasizing nonviolent spiritual protest in the manner of Gandhi. But the Chinese are fearful of the many local rebellions yearly in their OWN glued-together country…

Yes, here’s another deeper dark secret:

The Chinese are afraid of the Dalai Lama because if he returns to Tibet, the citizens of China might eventually grow inspired. Find they have their own spiritual leaders who would awaken, be roused to action & revolt against the extreme Chinese bureacratic controls over the Christians, Buddhists, & Falun Gong (peaceful traditional meditation & family values) practitioners.

(3)
The Chinese people, though mostly unaccustomed to democracy except in their village councils, do have a spiritual heart that the frankly atheistic and repressive (because they force their rejection of spirituality on others) Chinese leaders desperately FEAR.

(4)
The Chinese know they are in the ethical and spiritual WRONG for trying to destroy the Tibetan people & their spirit.

Where misery is enforced by tyranny, revolution for survival MUST follow.

(5)
Why do the Chinese rule Tibet like the Nazis in Germany before 1939, or the American slave owners on their old Southern plantations?

Because it’s a vast natural resources grab, plain & simple. They want to extract every possible resource from Tibet like a vampire wants to sucks all the blood from its victims.

It’s nothing personal.

(6)
…Back to the true story:

Tibetan people’s villages pillaged, their people forced to learn Chinese & not Tibetan language or culture in schools, and not to speak their own language in public dealings.

Since recent construction of the massive international railway & highway the Chinese Nazis, or slave masters–
for that’s what they’re becoming–
have swamped Tibet with Chinese immigrants, making real Tibetans an underemployed, disrespected, abused minority in their own land.

(7)
Simple unpleasant fact:

Greater desperation is seeping into the Chinese slave masters’ Tibetan plantations by their unceasing cruelty against their slaves.

Nobody burns himself to death in protest unless he & his community are forced beyond misery into utter hopelessness by an unyielding menace that responds only to extreme public acts!

When burning yourself to death becomes your only & strongest way to show your objection to intolerable abuse, and to rally your community to protest despite its impoverished weakness, that must mean you’re being pushed beyond desperation!

(8)
It’s a shocking, even astounding testament to the Tibetan peoples’ nature that they’d choose to harm themselves before retaliating against their cold-blooded oppressors with every weapon & paramilitary tactic they could get their hands on–

which is what we’d do here in USA!

(Tibetans bravely attempted defense of their country in 1959 but China’s massive war machine rolled over them like the waves of Nazi tanks did over Poland.)

(9)
Every statement here is based on clear facts found in the public record and through respected Tibetan support organizations who SEE and KNOW the real desperation in Tibet.

(10)
Let’s pray the Chinese slave masters moderate their cruelty to the great Tibetan people & allow them to freely breathe as the peaceful, good-hearted, deep-souled people they are.

(11)
Conclusion:

Sure, America & the West are used to trading with the Chinese, & our incompetent politicians are addicted to borrowing from them to keep our global octopus economic system out of the toilet.

Maybe questioning China’s obscene behavior in Tibet nudges our national conscience to reconsider any of our own more questionable international deeds?

Fine.

The bottom line is:

Will we let fear, complacency & the endless nature of the crime obscure the historical FACTS and unavoidable TRUTHS about China’s MASTER / SLAVE relationship with Tibet?

I hope not.

(12)
But the facts are the facts.

Because we are entering the Age of Spiritual Honesty.

No one–
no force–
no government–
no religion–
no corporation–
no tradition–
no blind habit or wrongful deed is exempt.

I’m comfortable with stating uncomfortable facts, as facts.
