Thorny Questions About Jesus’ Crucifixion, Ascension & Return Down Here

Tough Easter questions for every Christian.
Also for every other-than-Christian:

Why was Jesus Christ resuscitated by angels
after His death on the cross, in a way He could return here with a super-spiritualized yet touchable physical body?

Hadn’t He gone through enough suffering?
Wasn’t God satisfied with how much He’d accomplished in one life already?
Wasn’t God satisfied with how much symbolic yet very bloody, very painful, very shattering penance He’d done on behalf of humanity?
Hadn’t Jesus earned the right to exit this earthly stage permanently? To “dwell up in Heaven at God’s right hand”?

What mission did He have left to accomplish in our gritty world?
He’d already preached with an infinite wisdom and sense of the value at stake in every situation in His earlier life.
He’d already healed enough impossibly sick people, raised the dead, and touched the hearts of enough Jewish people to reawaken them to God’s promises for them.
He’d already given every last drop of His strength.

So, why return?

I’ll suggest a possible answer by introducing another set of harsh questions:

Why, as the Scriptures say, did Jesus after returning here, then descend into the afterlife place known as Hell to preach to the dead?

If those fallen souls were in a place of total darkness and unconsciousness, why would God temporarily revive them just for Jesus’ inspirational speech?

If they were meant to be judged at some unknown future time, but upon death their soul’s consciousness had shifted from active to inactive, and their any further deeds (as if they could do anything “down there”) had shifted from having the new consequences and learning value natural to life, to having absolutely none–what good could He do?

If they were stuck in Hell for eternity as some misguided people believe, why would Jesus waste His energy teaching those unteachable souls, those unreachable souls, those unforgivable souls–stuck in an unalterable doom?

Since Jesus never uttered a negative word or wasted his breath–even His expressions of anger were rightfully aroused–surely He wasn’t in Hell to raise false hopes or mock those dead who supposedly were only conscious & free enough to suffer as painfully as Jesus had on His own cross?

Honestly, why would He return to the comparative hell of physical life after ascending to Heaven, only to descend into Hell beyond physical life again?

Let’s look at the parallels:

Humble Earthly existence could be seen as far below Heavenly existence, as Hell-bound existence could be seen as below Earthly existence.

Jesus having transcended the Earth, must have passed through a Great Mystic Initiation from God. Yet remember that years before His crucifixion, He’d already said that the greatest leader of all must be a servant of all.

Not being a man to waste words or time, Jesus must have come back here–to Earth and to Hell–out of devotion to one truth: SUPREME SERVICE CHANGES HEARTS, SOULS, and LIVES.

It must be that, though enmeshed in our own humble plane of life, we in the living flesh each can move towards our own higher level of mystic initiation. By returning to earth with greater Power and Fulfillment from God, Jesus then acted not only out of supreme compassion to ease our pangs, but also out of supreme desire to CHANGE us–to help bring us back up into more ACTIVE LIVING experience of our forgotten divine birthrights.

In that same light, by descending into Hell, Jesus then acted not only out of supreme compassion to ease the dead’s pangs, but also out of supreme desire to CHANGE them–to help them back up into a more ACTIVE LIVING experience in the direction of their forgotten divine birthrights.

He initiated both levels of humankind–the living and the dead–into waves of new, real, vital–and unexpected–HOPE.

He made clear that a REVOLUTIONARY ENERGY CHANGE had rocked Earth by His own Mystic Initiation. He above all desired to fulfill His new Initiation–by working to fulfill God’s desire for us to have our own uplifting Initiations.

Jesus demonstrated that EVERY ONGOING STEP of humanity’s UNBROKEN CYCLE of existence–whether within or without one’s fleshly body–holds intense potential for ACTIVE, LIVING CHANGE.

By giving REAL SERVICE to others.

Isn’t that worth coming back for?

Even If You’re Cracked, You’re Not Humpty-Dumpty

No matter what feels broken in your life–even after paying your income taxes–an inspirational self talk can help get you back on your feet.

Read these two out loud to yourself on alternate days. If you light a candle, or even look yourself in the eye in the mirror while saying these, it’s good:

“Part One, My Life:

“I know am strong. I know I can feel strong again.

“Though I hurt, I am not broken. Though I feel hurt, I am reviving.

“I am regrouping my energies. I am drinking from my central spring. I am treating myself kindly.

“I welcome full re-assembly of my creative powers and potentials.

“I welcome my growing clarity, my growth into secure insights from Life.

“I welcome the highest conditions of peace and calm, of prosperity and positive change. They grow from ever-deeper contact with myself and ever-higher guidance from ‘outside myself’.

“I welcome reviving my listening, my hearing, my connecting with the Highest Masters who truly, purely work in the interests of Christ Consciousness, Christ Goodness.

“I welcome creative change–I welcome establishment of conditions leading to my own greater service to & prospering from the Highest Good.

“I welcome feeling inspiration from my own strong, protected, unbroken core of True Light.

My core of True Light is creative and powerful. It is glad and good.

“I welcome a happy new harvest growing from everything I think and say, do and share from this day forwards.

“I welcome the very highest–the very best–the very happiest–destiny for myself, for all people, for all creatures, for all generations on Earth to come.

“I SAY YES to God and to Good! I say thank you God. Let us begin!”

Great Peace and Happiness to you,
for you are special and you are beloved by God.
Let me know confidentially how I can help.

Hot Question: Ever Meet an ET?

Did you ever meet an ET–while awake or asleep? What was it like? Do you know anybody else who’s had such an unusual experience?

Soul Diary Note:

Remarkable distinct visions crowded my awareness before sleep, in “floating” meditation….

Sometimes, between waking and sleeping, I used to see–no, I used to BEHOLD with stunned awe, to DRINK IN and TASTE–vast ever-kaleidoscoping LOVELY LIVING FIELDS of surreal BEAUTIFUL rainbow colors…

But tonight I saw, for the first time, luminous eyes, then complete faces of somehow noble, calm, peaceful NON-EARTH 3-D peoples. I confess, I could never imagine, and Hollywood has fallen far short of dreaming or depicting, the incredible detail–the incredible VARIETY–the remarkable precise living images that looked me straight in the eyes with intent goodwill.

Individually and grouped, beautiful living faces of every possible humanoid feature with other creaturoid and dimensionoidal mixtures, details, appendages. Looking at me. Greeting me “wordlessly.”

Constantly changing array of faces with intelligence, curiosity, kindness and, to me, completely inscrutable emotions.

After several perfectly clear, hushed minutes of my observing them, and vice versa, the visions fuzzed into indistinct shapes. Faded. I lapsed into what would be a restless sleep.

What’s your story? No matter how unusual, we’ll listen. Thank you.

Welcome to the Spiritual Olympic Games!

Dear Potential Future Olympic Gold Medalist:

Let’s ask a tough question:
Do you sometimes wonder why you’re here?

Do you understand that you, as an eternal spirit, are alive on Earth today VOLUNTARILY?

Yes–the fact is, you eagerly volunteered for your beautiful expansive spirit to hop down into the limited dimensions of a weak human body. You worked hard to qualify for an open position with a mother and family circumstances at least a little bit suited to your karmic condition (your past-earned level of experience), and to your desired new love-growth experiences.

Finally, you qualified!

Because you are a beloved creation of God–no matter where you are or what conditions you’re enduring–your existence is always meaningful. You ARE meaning itself, in search of ever-growing purpose. This means your life HERE is a PURPOSEFUL GOOD CREATION.

Your presence here on Earth’s surface is a welcome one–an honored one. You are an important participant training in harsh arenas guided by a gigantic–and benevolent–Master Plan.

Your life is worth all your athletic efforts to survive and excel. You, sweating and struggling to do your very best, are a vital part of Earth’s Reality Games. Whether you think so or not, or feel too weak or flabby or undisciplined to “compete”.

Do you feel like your challenges in life are unfair? Do you feel forced to be here? Maybe you feel soul pressure to BECOME something–to “score points” for what you believe in–to make a real difference–NOW?

What kind of a difference are you here to make? Surely you’re not just here to try to make big bucks, win your battles, get your fair share of fun & then kick the bucket when your time’s up?

Of course not–but what you ARE here to do…

Vital question:
Do you understand that to incarnate on Earth is a great, rare privilege?

Humpph. How rare can it be, you might scoff, with a teeming mob of 7 billion family members–and hundreds more popping down the fun-slide into this dimension every second?

But here’s the truth:
If we could see everyone lined up in a row–all the eager souls waiting to be born here, hoping to qualify to play The Games–they’d stretch in a near-infinite blur far past the boiling surface of the sun.

Why come to this tragic struggle? Why vie to qualify? Why not stay snug and secure on some peaceful, happy planet instead of jump into this madhouse?

The answer, my friend, is because our humble Mother Earth is the site of the biggest Spiritual Olympic Games.

No bigger extravaganza anywhere in the Universe–at this moment!

And you–yes, you, are a starring athlete.

Whether you have a clubfoot or no foot, whether you have the IQ of your shoe size, whether you can’t throw a discus any farther than you can throw a doghouse, whether you have an interstellar police record longer than the Congressional Record–you are playing here on purpose.

In this competition, the race definitely is not only to the swift, and the battle not only to the strong.

You made this team for a reason.

You’re being trained. You’re being taught to listen to your coaches and your higher instincts. You’re learning from your mistakes.

You’re learning the spiritual discipline and building the spiritual stamina of a champion.

Why? Because the Universe needs the kind of champions Earth’s Spiritual Olympics are making!

Maybe that concept makes you giggle. Or makes you feel depressed by comparing yourself to “everyone else”. But think about this fact:

A mysterious, holy process is unfolding–free will spiritual evolution is accelerating here on Earth–under the watchful loving eye of the Divine Creator. That makes you important–that makes your whole 7 billion member family important!

But what are these Spiritual Olympic Games all about? Why makes this tiny dusty planet so important to God? Why do so many wildly different new and ancient groups, belief systems, karmic patterns, emotional vibrations–burst sizzling in every direction like fireworks gone wild?

Because here is home to an incredible drama: a planet and human family starting to crackle with sacred ascension energies. That’s rare! A beautiful process vital to constantly renewing the Universe’s heart…

And what happens as Olympic Games progress? Old scores get tallied up. Mistakes get learned from. The competition heats up. Dramas and dreams are on the line…

Why not ask yourself:
“If I am here in some kind of unusual Spiritual Olympics of the Universe, what kind of athlete am I? What’s my biggest strength–and biggest weakness?”

“What’s my “main event”? What would be a Spiritual gold medal? Could I really win it? Is it possible to lose? Maybe what counts is just playing the game as good as I can–with trust–and leaving the rest to God?”
