Maitreya the World Teacher: Words of Peace 2012: Love in Action

We know 2012 is supposedly the final year–a date of ultimate encounter with destiny–on the ancient Mayan calendar.

We also know 2012 marks Earth’s onrushing collision of unprecedented economic cannibalism of the “99%” by the “1%”–

its worldwide governmental looting of human rights–

its exponentially increasing military addictions–

fundamentalist religious delusions–

and massive-to-the-point-of-near-suicidal global environmental destruction.

But for every spiritual medical symptom that supports a diagnosis of “incurable insanity” for the human race, other symptoms suggest an accelerating viral rebirth of our humanity, our hopes and our futures.

Ask any woman who’s endured childbirth:
She’ll say, It’s rarely easy, never any fun but the reward is completely worth it!

So, what better way to help jump-start birth of The Power of Our Love in 2012 than share selected wisdom quotes from one of Earth’s most controversial and hopeful speakers: Benjamin Creme, tireless advocate for the coming of a great spiritual leader called Maitreya, The World Teacher.

I leave it to you to investigate the website and decide for yourself about the nature of Maitreya. However, it’s easy to appreciate the spiritual eloquence of his words, excerpted from “Love in Action–A Compilation” at www.share-international.org.

LOVE IN ACTION

“…Simple lack of Love is the root of man’s suffering today. Nothing but this holds him from the manifestation of his divine potential. All of Godhead exists in man, but without Love nothing but suffering ensues. For long, My friends, have you known this…

I come to show you the simple Path to God through Love, to teach you the techniques of Love, the way forward through Love and Justice, correct relationship of man to man and thus to God.” (Maitreya, from Message No.101)

“By His release of the Christ Principle, [Maitreya] establishes in the world the ability to love. He galvanizes humanity through the power of that love to transform the world. This is precisely what He is doing now, from behind the scenes, and what He will do openly as He appears before the world.

Love is an active force which transforms…” (Benjamin Creme, Maitreya’s Mission Volume Three)

“Consider a world without love; such hideousness appalls the imagination. Why? Instinctively, man recognizes the need for love and soon will understand the need to love. He will come to know that love links him to all others in an endless chain. Tentatively, perhaps, at first, he will begin to trust. Step by step, he will conquer his fear. Then will he enter into that blessed state where fear has no place, where love sits calmly on its throne, bestowing its grace on all who come near.” (Benjamin Creme’s Master, from ‘The Need to Love’)

“Goodwill is attainable. It is the level of the energy of love that should not be too difficult for humanity to express. In fact, many millions of people do indeed feel and express goodwill. That is not just being nice, tolerant and decent; all of these are the result. Goodwill is an active force. It is the will aspect allied with the love aspect. When the love aspect informs the will aspect, you get goodwill.

If you think “good”, meaning love, and “will”, meaning purpose, you get good purpose, loving purpose. That loving purpose has to imbue our lives and create right human relations. Right human relations will free us from guilt and fear, will share the resources in the world and create peace. Right human relations is a priority of humanity, and Maitreya will make that one of His major concerns.” (Benjamin Creme, Maitreya’s Mission Volume Three)

“All change is preceded by tension and tension brings fear. However, fear has no place in the heart activated by service and love.” (Benjamin Creme’s Master, from ‘A Time of Change’)

“The reappearance of the Christ in relation to humanity is fundamentally about the birth of the Christ Principle in the hearts of all humanity. That awakens the love aspect. Therefore sharing and justice, right relationship in a word, is guaranteed in this coming age. Right relationship does not happen by itself. Humanity has to make it happen.

The awakening by Maitreya of the Christ Principle in the hearts of all humanity is the method by which His major work, which is on the astral plane, is carried out. This will galvanize the heart response of humanity and awaken them not only to the need for brotherhood but also to the actual expression of brotherhood, and therefore sharing, justice, peace and freedom for all people everywhere.” (Benjamin Creme, The Great Approach)

“[Maitreya] wants you to give your love to the world, and He comes to inspire you to do it, to awaken in you the love which is inherent in the heart of every human being, but which is frustrated in its expression, largely by the unjust political, economic and social conditions with which we surround ourselves. When these conditions are changed, the love of humanity, inspired by Maitreya, will demonstrate in a way which today you probably could not imagine, and will transform the world.” (Benjamin Creme, The Great Approach)

“Here, then, is the cure for all the ills of men: demonstrate love that every man may share the Earth’s abundance. Demonstrate love that wars be seen no more. Demonstrate your soul’s love and bring that day forward when man will be united with man and God.

However he may try, man cannot live without love. This fact will soon establish itself in the consciousness of the race, and lead to events unparalleled in history. Shortly will begin a process of transformation unlike aught seen before: gone for ever the sight of millions starving, the daily heartache of the dispossessed, the everlasting travail of the world’s poor.

Gone, from sight and mind, the threat of self-destruction, the unholy terror which has humanity in thrall. Gone, too, the lack of trust which curbs and limits man’s every action and sets him against his neighbour and himself. All of this shall man achieve by demonstrating Love.” (Benjamin Creme’s Master, from Love – The Way Forward)

Welcome my friend to 2012 as your Year of Hope. Thank you for loving your self, loving your Creator, loving your one human family–and for your courage to give birth to your love!

How to Avoid Wasting Time When You Pray

You know life is too short. Too busy. Too distracting.

You know you want to pray, because you feel the need.

But–please forgive our blunt honesty here:

You want to avoid wasting time by praying without getting results.

Here’s the absolute personal metaphysical truth:

You can’t effectively pray if you can’t or wont really thank the Sacred Source you’re praying to. Otherwise, why bother to pray? Go ahead & just thank yourself instead.

Pretend you’re the Only Total Almighty Source of All Good.

Then pray.

See what satisfaction that gets you.

Let’s face it–we’ve all tried THAT experiment before. Maybe not consciously, but on our lives’ inner roller coaster rides from Extreme Self Loathing to Extreme Self Adulation, and back again. Plus on every section of rickety track in between.

Everyone has tried self worship in all its disguises.

The result:

You know. We all know. It’s a near-total waste of our time.

Except that as we learn more about our limitations–about what we’re NOT–we can gain more respect for what IS beyond us.

That respect–if we’re at all grateful for our existences–can be called “worship”.

We can totally understand historical reasons why many people “batten their spiritual hatches” at the word “worship”.

But the whole point of praying is to unlatch & release our personal spiritual blocks.

So if you have any, why not drop your pointless, worn-out, boring-to-yourself objections to real worship?

After all, when you admit your love for your Sacred Source, you admit your real desire is:

To rise to the surface.

To open that stifling submarine hatch door.
To breathe in the waves of fresh ocean air.
To feel the pure soul of the sun on your skin.

To stop wasting precious time.

Because this brief life of yours belongs to you–not to your old objections against fuller living.

…Many saints old and new encourage us “to worship God with hearts overflowing”. But how can we, in this cynical, pretentious, ignorant, self-denying age?

You can feel we’re talking with total honesty here:

If in your worship you can’t be overflowing with joy, you can be overflowing with penitence.

If you can’t be overflowing with courage, you can be overflowing with fears, put to the grist mill, to power your prayers.

If you can’t be overflowing with wisdom, you can be overflowing with acknowledgment and acceptance of the pains of your ignorance.

Anyways, should you choose even the slightest, tiniest reason to worship God, however meekly or weakly, you will find your inner resources full to the brim for use.

Should you simply choose to do it–for whatever reason.

The results of your more grateful prayers will refresh your life very effectively over time.

The gifts of time can be: your happier, deeper, more powerful life.

Peace and happiness to you,

11 Spiritual Power Principles for Your Success in 2011

by Rev. Scott Ufford

Use these 11 spiritual power principles to build your happy success in 2011:

1.
Give thanks now for all the good things in your life last year, 2010.

They comforted you, rewarded you, blessed you, healed you. Gave you so much to share. Because of them, they gave you ways & chances to help others and grow your dreams.

2.
Give thanks now for all the pains in your life last year.

They taught you, challenged you, strengthened you. They purified your soul energy, cleansed your karma & your resolve to hear wisdom & follow your dreams.

3.
Give thanks now for all the people who helped you & forgave you last year.

By their hands you were uplifted. You were encouraged to grow. By their forgiveness, whether known or not, you became less separate & more connected to other people, to your heart, and to God.

4.
Give thanks now for all the people you helped & forgave last year.

By your hands others were uplifted. By your sacrifice & caring, you gave them hope. By forgiving them, you increased the good in the world, in your life—and in your future.

5.
Give thanks now for all the new people in your life last year.

Could you imagine 2010 without the new people, new stimulation, struggles and gladness—but you had no idea they would show up? Do you sense higher purpose & possibilities within your life’s changes?

6.
Give thanks now for all the people who left your life last year.

Did you know they would leave, or when or how? By leaving, they pushed you to feel the truth, weakness, happiness & love in your relationships. To value each moment. To learn by reflecting on love and loss.

7.
Give thanks now for all the new people, opportunities & ideas who will enter your life this New Year.

Can you imagine the good unknowns coming your way? Why not magnify them? By focusing on your desires, helping others with their desires, and giving thanks in advance, you radiate energies of fulfillment.

8.
Give thanks now for all the people’s lives & hopes you will enter this New Year.

Do you have any idea how important you are to your corner of the world? Can you imagine how the wrongs and rights you’ll do, will help others learn their lessons, fulfill their dreams & destinies–and change you?

9.
Give thanks now for all the good & bad that will enter your life this New Year.

By giving thanks in advance for EVERYTHING, you really gain strength. How? You welcome the Higher Power that’s sustained and loved you through every event since your creation. You align yourself with trust in action.

10.
Give thanks now for all the events that will enter the world this New Year.

Unknown are the blessings and pains of this year ahead. Unknown are the startling new struggles, setbacks, inventions and successes. Unknown are the necessary revolutions, sacrifices, losses and humble births. But known is that you will create this year with everyone else. Be glad you love the human family.

11.
Give thanks now for the Higher Power pouring Its Reality into humanity’s dreamland this New Year.

Known to God is the clear and hidden good within the Higher Plan. Known to God is the best possible destiny of humanity taking shape through all our miseries and confusions. The more you decide to dream the powerful dream, to pray with purpose, to hear with your heart, to start the healing, the more you free your soul.

12.
Give thanks now for the chance to give a little more than what’s expected in this New Year.

Do this for others, and life will do more for you than you expect. When you’re glad, you give and receive more without measure. You make room for miracles. You enjoy our world’s increasing power to reflect Divine possibilities.

A Conclusion and a Beginning:

By giving thanks for what was, what is, and what will be, you multiply everyone’s good in this New Year. So decide to wake up more. Be glad God makes this possible.

Be patient, be brave, and help make 2011 beautiful. Thank you.
